Dear all,

Our next OpenRail Association Community Meetup is happening next Thursday — a space where developers, innovators, railway professionals, and Open Source enthusiasts come together to shape the future of open railway technology.

📅 Date: Thursday, 10 September 2026

⏰ Time: 2:00 PM CEST

📆 Recurring: Every second Thursday of the month at 2:00 PM CEST

🔗 Join the meeting: OSRD Roadmap Review

🛤️ Special Focus: OSRD Roadmap Review

In this session, we will talk about the roadmap of Open Source Railway Designer (OSRD) (https://osrd.fr/en). The maintainers of OSRD will join us to talk about their short- and long-term plans and how the community can chime in as well.

We'll explore the topic together, exchange ideas and experiences, and discuss where open collaboration could take it next.

🚆Whether you are a developer, railway professional, researcher, or simply curious about open railway technology, OpenRail warmly welcomes you.

👋 See you next Thursday!

Kind regards

on behalf of the OpenRail Association

Mariya
