by alexandra.haenig＠openrailassociation.org

Dear all, Our next OpenRail Association Community Meetup is happening this Thursday — a space where developers, innovators, railway professionals, and open-source enthusiasts come together to shape the future of open railway technology. 📅 Date: Thursday, 13 August 2026 ⏰ Time: 2:00 PM CEST (UTC+2) 📆 Recurring: Every second Thursday of the month at 2:00 PM CEST 🔗 Join the meeting: https://meet.jit.si/moderated/dc646b19b988ac7b4504904ed4a0e23a4bcc548c2fd70… 📖 Special Focus: Machine-Readable Railway Regulations This month we turn to machine-readable railway regulations — how rules and standards that today exist mainly as prose can be captured in formats that software can actually process, and what that would mean for planning, safety cases, and compliance across the sector. We'll explore the topic together, exchange ideas and experiences, and discuss where open collaboration could take it next. Why join? ✅ Explore how railway regulations can be made machine-readable. ✅ Exchange ideas with people working on the same problems. ✅ Connect with the OpenRail community. ✅ Help shape the future of open railway technology. Whether you're a developer, rail industry professional, researcher, or simply passionate about open railway technology, you're warmly invited to join the conversation. 💬 Let's build the future of rail together. 🚆 See you Thursday! #OpenRail #OpenSource #RailTech #RailwayTechnology Alexandra Hänig 5, Place du Champs de Mars Bastion Tower – Lvl. 12 1050 Brussels, Belgium <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/openrailassociation.org/__;!!Nto2ANp9CeU…> https://openrailassociation.org/ Tel: +4917624636650 From: alexandra.haenig(a)openrailassociation.org <alexandra.haenig(a)openrailassociation.org> Sent: Wednesday, 8 July 2026 13:11 To: general(a)lists.openrailassociation.org Subject: 🚂 Join the First Official OpenRail Association Community Meetup! 🚂 Dear all, We're excited to launch our monthly OpenRail Association Community Meetup—a space where developers, innovators, railway professionals, and open-source enthusiasts come together to shape the future of open railway technology. 📅 Date: Thursday, July 9, 2026 ⏰ Time: 2:00 PM CEST (UTC+2) 📆 Recurring: Every second Thursday of the month at 2:00 PM CEST 🔗 Join the meeting: https://share.openrailassociation.org/call/mxhwgsqv 🚖 Special Focus: Hack4Rail Taxi Voucher Challenge Our first meetup will spotlight the Hack4Rail Taxi Voucher Challenge, featuring the teams behind two outstanding projects and exploring how the OpenRail community can help these ideas continue to grow beyond the hackathon. 🏆 Featured presentations 1.
